Death of Henry Roland
One of the oldest employees of the Reading Railroad Company, Mr. Henry Roland, died yesterday afternoon at his residence in Ninth street below Penn. Mr. Roland was a generous and in every respect a first class man. He was about sixty years of age and was ill about ten days. He leaves a wife and several children.

The relatives and friends of the family, also Montgomery Lodge, I.O.O.F., and Hebron Encampment, No. 8, are respectfully invited to attend the funeral on Friday afternoon, from his late residence, No. 23 South Ninth street. Services at the First Reformed Church. Interment at Charles Evans Cemetery.

Mrs. Mary P. Roland died at her residence 23 South 9th, of a complication of diseases, aged 68 years. Deceased was the widow of Henry Roland and a daughter of the late Amos P. Moyer and a sister of Mrs. John E. Arthur, William T. Moyer and Henry P. Moyer, of Philadelphia. Mrs. Ellen Shirey, ex Councilman John M. Roland, Amos J. Roland, Rebecca Roland, Mrs. Clara Wicklein, Mrs. Elias Newcomet and Henry H. Roland are the surviving sons and daughters. Deceased was a member of the First Reformed church.
