John Arthur was naturalized an American citizen in 1820 in Chester County, PA. He settled down in Muncy Creek Township, PA. The descendants of John Arthur wound up living in the following places, and continue to live in some of these places today: Berks, Montgomery, Wyoming, Chester and Philadelphia counties, Pennsylvania; North Carolina; South Carolina; Virginia; Ohio; Washington; Texas and Florida.
