A Very Old Stone in the Old Center Cemetery of Immigrant Robert Smith

It's words speak volumes. He was certainly loved and honored by his grandchildren. He must have told them many wonderful stories about his life in Ireland, his decision to immigrate, his experiences as an Irish-born American living in Massachusetts in the 1710s through until his death. Beside him in the stone "Here lies ye body of Mrs. Margaret, wife of Dea. James Smith who died Dec. ye 30th A. D. 1750 ae. 75."
