François legitimate and natural son of Guillaume Le Moing and Isabeau L’Hévéder his wife was baptized by me undersigned priest and rector of Rospez and he was held on the saint fonts by François Nicolas and Marguerite L’Hévéder the 15th of May 1641
Marriage certificate:
The banns … of the future wedding between François Le Moing from the parish of Rospez and Marie Le Vey (Le Väy) from this parish of Pommerit Jaudy have been proclaimed by me … I undersigned Le Champion priest this day 2nd of April (1663) received their mutual consent … and I gave them the wedding benediction … in presence of Mr. Jacques Savidan who signs, Jan Getard, Jan and François Tremol, Ysabeau Le Gendre and others who do not sign …
Death certificate:
This day 5th of May 1705 after permission from the judges from the court of Guimgamp dated same day … was buried in the parochial church of Quemperven by me undersigned François Le Moing aged about 60 who died suddenly on the 3rd of the current month and were present at the convoy Jeanne Tremel his widow, Yves, Marguerite and Vincent Le Moing his children and several others who cannot sign
I think that it is our François Le Moing because :
- the age matches approximately the date of his baptism
- François and Marie Le Vaÿ/Le Veÿ/Le Veiz have five children in Rospez between 1665 and 1675, the last one on November 10 1675
- François and Jeanne Tremel have a first child in Quemperven on June 12 1677

“Unfortunately I did not find the death of Marie Le Vaÿ either in Rospez or Quemperven.
I also did not find the wedding of François with Jeanne Tremel in these two parishes. She seems to be from Langoät but the record is lacking for the period 1674-1677.
Marie Le Vaÿ is said to be from Pommerit-Jaudy. There I found a Jean Le Veiz married to a Jeannette Le Duizet who have a Grégoire in 1635 and a Louise in 1638, but no other child after that. It is the only couple by that name in Pommerit.”
