Death certificate:
Marie Le Gall aged about 60 died in the communion of our mother Church on September 6 1734 after receiving the sacraments … her body was buried in the church of Trélevern the following day, present at the convoy were Hélène Michel her daughter, Yves Guyomarch her son in law, René Le Gall her brother, Vincent Le Flem and others
Note from Xavier: “Surprisingly there is no mention of her husband although he was still alive at Hélène’s wedding and I have not found his death between the wedding and the death of his wife. The presence of a brother René will hopefully help me find her parents.”

After the engagement in the parochial church of Trélévern and the three banns of the wedding between Jan Michel sailor and Marye (Marie) Legal (Le Gall) both living in my parish of Trélévern … I undersigned interrogated the said Michel and Le Gall and with their mutual consent I married them in presence of Marie Le Perf mother of the said Michel and Jan Mello, Marie Le Moutier and others who do not sign this day 25th of October 1706
