Marriage record:

Note from Xavier: “The first register of Plourivo covers baptisms from 1583 to 1668, weddings from 1583 to 1612 and funerals from 1587 to 1611. There is only one family by the name of Durand, referred to as “noble”. This couple have children in1596, 1611, 1615 and 1620. The last one is a Christophe. I believe that they are the parents of Yvon although I could not find his baptism. Maybe they lived in another parish for a while between 1596 and 1611.
Yvon was first married with Jacquette Festou and they had children between 1634 and 1641 so I assume they got married around 1633 which is consistent with Yvon being born between 1596 and 1611. He remarries with Jeanne Le Gonidec, probably around 1646 as they have children from 1647 to 1664. The Christophe born in 1620 is godfather of one of their children. This is why I believe that this couple are the parents of Yvon.”

Noble man Pierre Durand from the parish of Plo(u)agat and Thomine La Danay daughter of Guyon (nickname for Guy) from this parish were married by me Jan Le Games priest vicar in front of the catholic and roman church in the accustomed form in the parochial church of Plourivo, in presence of dom Jean K(er)leau, dom Françoys Le Bellec priests, Esquire Jean Le Clerc sir of Coat Jezegou, Esquire Françoys Le Chapponny Sir of K(e)roger and several others this 14th day of November 1589.

Note from Xavier: “Keroger is close to Plouagat. I have not found Coat Jézégou, just a Coat Jélegou but I clearly read a “z” in the record.”
