Yves Sechan priest of Q-G. … married in the parochial church of the said Q-G. the banns having been made in the church … between Thirizien (Thérésien) Pochaher (Pouhaër) son of Laurent Pochaer … and Janne (Jeanne) Le Roy daughter of late Jan Le Roy and Claudine Sébille her mother living and consenting the said wedding further to the marriage decree in the court of Pontrieux and Q-G. bearing the consent, advice of and emancipation (?) by the parents above mentioned date Monday 4th of March 1652 J Prupeu (?)clerk of the court’s office ; the said wedding celebrated in presence of Laurent Pouchaer father of the said TTherizien Pochaer and the said Claudine Sebille mother of the said Janne Le Roy, Rolland and Claudine Pochaer, Marie Sechan, Philipponne Lesquelen, Maude Le Roy, Thirizien Le Guen and Estienne Tavot (?) his wife and several others who do not sign this day 23rd of April 1652 …
Death Certificate:
The 12th of January Terezien (Thérézien) Poucher (Pouhaer) died in the communion … and his body was buried on the 13th of the said month in the parochial church of Q-G. … and received also the last sacrament on the 11th of the said month 1660
Note from Xavier: “This explains why he and Jeanne Le Roy do not have other children after 1658.”
