Christoph(l)e Le Gareres aged about 50 died in the communion of our mother holy Church on the 15th of March 1691 and was buried by noble an disreet Sir François Rolland esquire Sir of Trofantan and rector of Plourivo, and were present at the convoy M. Connan priest, M. Jean Perrot and Guillaume Scellé (?)
Note from Xavier: “So he was born around 1641. There is no trace of that surname in the records at that time so the family arrived later in Plourivo.
There is also no trace of the surname Le Barbu in Plourivo so I assume he got married elsewhere.”
