Notes for Jean François Thomas
Birth certificate:

The 14th day of July 1705 was baptized in this church by me undersigned priest J(e)an François Thomas born the same day son of honorable persons Denis Thomas and Catherine Ollivier his father and mother working in the “dîmerie” of Lesvignan (?) ; godfather and godmother were esquire Jan du Liscoat (?) Sir of the said place and Françoise Marion working in the Tresve of St-Gilles who signed except for the said Thomas …
Signed : Jan de Liscoy, Françoise Marion

Note from Xanvier: "A "dîmerie" was a piece of land subject to the payment of the “dîme” or a place where the “dîme” was kept. Considering the above wording I think it is the first in this case.
The dime was the part of the production of a property due to the landlord or the clergy. Originally it was 10% of the production (dîme comes from the latin “decimus”, tenth)."

Marriage certificate:

After the engagement and the three banns of future marriage between Jan Thomas from Q-G. and Ollive (Olive) Le Guilloux (Guillou) from this parish of St-Gilles … without any opposition or impediment having come to my attention or that of the rector of Q-G. … I married them and gave them the wedding benediction during the mass celebrated for them in presence of Denys (Denis) Thomas, Yves Le Guilloux, Philippe Thomas and Luarens (Laurent) Le Juif who all declared not knowing how to sign when asked this day 18th February 1732

Death certificate:

Jean Thomas aged about 72 died the 1st of June 1777 after receiving the sacraments … and was buried the next day in the cemetery of the parochial church of Q-G. by the undersigned priest in presence of Jacques, Yves and Jean his children, and Joseph Le Pape his son in law who sign

Notes for Olive (Spouse 1)
Birth certificate:

Olive Le Guilloux legitimate daughter of Yves Le Guilloux and Marie Mevello his wife born the 23 of November 1710 baptized the next day by me undersigned priest, godfather and godmother were Jan Le Guilloux and Olive Guyomar both from this place who did not sign  …

Death certificate:

Ollive (Olive) Le Guilloux wife of Jan Thomas died the 3rd of March 1748 aged about 35 and was buried the next day by the undersigned priest in the parochial church of St Gilles le Vicomte in presence of Jan Thomas, Guillaume Le Guilloux, Jacques Le Merer and Yves Rallon all signing

Note from Xavier: “I found the birth of a son of Jean and Olive, Guillaume, in St-Gilles in 1734 and another one, Yves, in 1738. I was hoping to find your ancestor, Jacques around 1735-37 but did not which is disappointing. Olive died after giving birth to a son, François, who also died on March 3 1748.”
