“The nineteenth day of December 1669 Jan Le Gelardon husband of Anne Le Vot aged about 60 died in the communion of the holy Church whose body was buried the next day in the parochial church of Plouguiel and assisted to the convoy the said Anne Le Vot his wife, Celeste and Marie Le Gelardon his daughters and Ollivier Le Gelardon brother who when asked declared being unable to sign. He confessed and received the communion from me rector undersigned and received the Extreme Unction during his illness”
