Hi Steve,

Unfortunately we are unable to locate a marriage in Montgomery County between a Joseph Thomas and a Anna "Annie" Loretta Riggs, we were also unable to locate an estate record. You may want to check with Philadelphia archives to see what they have.

Notes for Joseph (Spouse 1)
I NEED ONE MORE PRIMARY DOCUMENT TO SOLIDIFY THIS AS HIS PARENTS AND LINE.
THE FAMILY STORY HAS ALWAYS BEEN THAT OUR NAME WAS “THOMA” IN SOUTHERN GERMANY. THIS AND THE BIRTH DATE FITS THAT BILL.

Based on the record I believe to be his parents, he is possibly from the area of Freiburg, Germany.

Christened “Joseph Thoma” 25 March 1856.

Possible record for Joseph Thomas (census says 1880)
