Obituary:
Henrietta Leatherman of Doylestown, Pennsylvania died Monday, August 24, 2015 at the Pine Run Lakeview Assisted Living Community in Doylestown. She was 97 years old. Henrietta was born November 27, 1917 in Abington, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Ernest Buehler and the late Mary Buehler (nee - Mueller). She is the beloved wife of the late Chester Leatherman; mother of Douglas Leatherman, Barry Leatherman and his wife Donna, Terry Leatherman and his wife Sandy, and Cheryl Murphy and her husband Dennis; grandmother of Stephen Leatherman and his wife Mary Beth, Mark Leatherman and his wife Mandy, Todd Leatherman, Eric Leatherman, Brian Leatherman and his wife Lauren, Katelyn Fraser, Dana McKinnon and her husband Josh, Megan Murphy, and Julia Murphy; great grandmother of Addy Fraser, and Noah, Thomas, Daniel, and Sylvie Leatherman.
Henrietta was born in Abington, PA, and was raised and educated in Willow Grove, where she attended Upper Moreland High School. Her family owned and operated Buehler’s Dairy in Willow Grove, and it was there that she met her future husband, Chester Leatherman, who worked at the dairy as a driver and pasturer before he was inducted into the United States Army during World War II. After the war, they raised their family in the Hatboro area, and most recently had been residents of the Pine Run Community in Doylestown, PA until his passing in 2011. Henrietta has been a resident of the Lakeview Assisted Living Community for the past two and a half years.
Relatives and friends were invited to her visitation on Monday, August 31, 2015 from 9:30 A.M. and to her funeral service at 11:00 A.M. at the Calvary Presbyterian Church, 405 North Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090 www.calvary-wg.org. A graveside service followed at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Prospectville, PA 19002.
Religious services were conducted by Rev. Rick Tyson, pastor of Calvary Presbyterian Church.

Relatives, friends, and members of the SPEBQSA, Bucks County Chapter, are invited to his funeral service at 1 p.m. Friday at Calvary Presbyterian Church, 405 North Easton Rd., Willow Grove, PA 19090, where friends may call after 11:30 a.m. Interment will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
