Joined the US Navy in 1969. Stationed 2 years in an air squadron at NAS Norfolk, Virginia. Stationed 1 year at a support base in Nha Be, Republic of Vietnam. (17 miles south of Saigon in Mekong Delta). Discharged in Norfolk Virginia. First job at Fort Washington Park Office, accounting clerk, 10 years with The Seltzer Organization, owners of Fort Washington Office Center. Quit Fort Washington job and moved to Dallas Texas in 1981.
Worked as field auditor for Trammel Crow Company in their multi family apartment division, probably 3 years. Quit when the travel time was too much. Took an accounting job with Monarch Properties, Inc, another apartment management firm in August 1983. Still with that company 23 years later. Current position Director of Personnel (Human Resource, Payroll, Benefits, Federal, State, Local Taxes, Work Comp, Immigration checks and whatever else comes along).
